Nate Owen focuses on providing comprehensive wealth management to successful professionals, families and small businesses. Nate works to help his clients achieve financial security, where work becomes optional for them. His clients benefit from strategies customized to their needs that include: creating a financial plan, investment management, risk management (life, disability and long term care insurance), retirement income and estate planning strategies. Nate serves as Sequoia’s Investment Committee Chairperson where he helps lead the investment and allocation decisions for the firm.
Nate began his career at Bank of America, where he served for almost a decade in a variety of corporate strategy roles during the height of the financial crisis. Nate graduated from Hobart College in 2007 with a B.A. in Economics and Public Policy. Nate was a member of the Hobart and William Smith Colleges’ sailing team during its run as two-time national champions. An avid sailor, Nate competes both locally and nationally, and serves on the board of the Mallets Bay Boat Club. Nate resides in Hinesburg, VT with his wife Kate, daughter Mackenzie, son Patrick and their beloved golden retriever.
